How long have you been trading currencies?

I'm a currency trader since 2004, so about 2.5 years.

What is your trading experience, prior to trading the Forex market?

Stocks and Futures.

Do you trade forex for a living?

Yes, since 1 year.

Do you make money trading currencies?

Yes, I can make a living from it.

What's your average return/month for the past 12 month?

3.4 %

What are your favorite currency pairs to trade?

EUR/USD

What are your favorite trading sessions?

Euro and NY trading sessions

How many hours/day do you spend currency trading?

On average 7 hours.

Describe your best trade, what currency pair, why you placed it, and how much profit did you make?.

279 pips on EUR/USD. I did place the trade because a huge breakout occurred at 1.2980 (was yearly high for 2006). I did close the trade at 1.3259 for €31387 profit. (15 lots).

What was your biggest mistake ever?

When I first started, I lost 210 pips on 1 single trade because of not putting a stop loss.

When placing a trade, do you use technical analysis, fundamental analysis, or a combination of both?

Both

What timeframe's are you looking at?

15 min, 1 hour and daily's.

What are your money management rules when trading forex? How do you manage risk?

I never risk more than 35 pips/trade. I go break even when I am up 30 pips.

How long do you tend to hold a trade?

1 hour up to 2 days.

What lessons have you learned that have helped you find profitable trades, and keep losses relatively small?

Having patience and discipline, without, you can't succeed.

What do you feel as a currency trader that new traders should focus upon?

Try to learn as much as you can and focus on 1 currency pair. Never forget to put a stop loss.

What indicators have you found most useful such as Slow Stoch, Fibonacci, ADX, RSI, etc.?

I'm using support, resistance and sometimes a slow stoch indicator.

From what you have learned so far about trading the FX market, what changes might you make in the future?

I'm doing ok, so I'm not planning to change my trading style in the future.
